Group 1 Winner Thunder Moon Highlights Tattersalls Autumn HIT Catalog

Thunder Moon will be offered during the HIT fall sale at the end of the month | Tattersalls

Group 1 winner Thunder Moon (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire}) (lot 749) is one of the highlights of the sale of 1552 Tattersalls fall horses in training catalog which was released on Tuesday. Scheduled to run Monday, October 24 through Thursday, October 27, the sale — which features 70 listed bands and artists — begins at 9:30 a.m. each day.

Brought to you by The Castlebridge Consignment, Thunder Moon was trained by Joseph O’Brien and won the G1 National S. as a juvenile. He currently holds a rating of 108 by Timeform, and has also been placed in the G1 Dewhurst S. and the G1 Prix Jean Prat.

The Irish winner of Cesarewitch on Sunday Waterville (Ireland) (Camelot {GB}) (lot 275) is part of Coolmore’s 41-lot project. Rated 116p by Timeform, the lightly run 3-year-old is joined by G2 Dante S. third Bluegrass (Ireland) (Galileo {Ire}) (lot 678), which is rated 107.

Eddie’s Boy (GB) (Havana Gray {GB}) (lot 643), who won the G3 Prix Eclipse, will come through the ring from The Castlebridge Consignment, while other notable 2yos include G2 Royal Lodge S. runner-up Dubai Mile (Ireland) (Roaring Lion) (lot 768A) of Kingsley Park. Eve Lodge stable list winner Rocket Rodney (UK) (Dandy Man {Ire}) (lot 1138) and the second Listed Chesham S. Pearl Trail (Fr) (holy roman emperor {Ire}) (lot 674) from Baroda Stud are also available for sale.

Some of the sellers include The Castlebridge Consignment (155), Jamie Railton (105), Baroda Stud has 92 and Barton Sales will offer 58. Godolphin and Shadwell Estates will offer 28 and 14 lots respectively, with a notable lot winner from Shadwell’s group Mujbar (UK) (Muhaarar {GB}) (lot 657). Juddmonte’s 23-batch draft contains all 97 rated Special Envoy (GB) (frankel {GB}) (lot 1086) among others.

Andrew Balding’s 47-team Park House Stables draft features G2 winner July S. Tactical (GB) (Toronado {Ire}) (lot 1059), while Richard Hannon’s East Everleigh Stables will offer 45 and Mark Johnston’s Kingsley Park has 43 lots for sale.
